Renowned Texas Country musician Tommy Alverson has died on Thursday 14th November 2024. The news of his passing has left many in devastated. He was confirmed dead through a Facebook post that reads “We lost Tommy Alverson today, RIP. Prayers of comfort and peace for AmyCarol Alverson, extended family and friends. God bless. He was a legendary Texas musician.” The cause of his death has not been released.
Born and raised in Itasca, Texas, Alverson’s journey to fame began well before his career in music. He played varsity football at Itasca High School alongside his childhood friend Sam Baker. The camaraderie and teamwork forged on the football field would influence Alverson’s collaborative spirit in his musical career.
