Deborah Birmingham Death, Former OZ FM ‘Dawn Patrol’ host died after cancer battle

Famous OZ FM’s morning show ‘The Dawn Patrol’ host, Deborah Birmingham, has sadly passed away following a courageous battle with cancer. She was 61 years old at the time of her death. She was announced dead in a statement that read “Heartbroken to learn today that my old friend and colleague, Deborah Birmingham, has lost her battle with cancer… she was, and to me, still is, the standard to which every woman who hosts or co-hosts commercial morning radio is held.”

According to a GoFundMe page created on June 26th, 2024, Deb was diagnosed with B cell follicular lymphoma and she also had a surgery that removed melanoma from her leg. With many hospital and doctor visits ahead for treatment, she was unable to work. The fundraising page which was targeted at raising $10,000 raised the sum of $7,470.
