Carson Boyle Urbandale IA Accident:- A man sustained life-threatening injuries following an accident in Johnson County, with the victim identified as Carson Boyle.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, Boyle, a resident of Urbandale, Iowa, was struck by a 2012 Jeep driven by 25-year-old Tagian Hughes of North Liberty while crossing West Penn Street near the Tin Roost restaurant.
Authorities confirmed that Boyle was seriously injured after being hit by the Jeep. The driver, Hughes, fled the scene but was located shortly after the incident. Charges are expected as the investigation continues.
The Iowa State Patrol responded to the scene at 925 Liberty Way in North Liberty just after 8:30 p.m. on Friday. Upon arrival, they found the 21-year-old Boyle with severe injuries. He was rushed to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, where doctors are working to stabilize him.
The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities are pursuing charges against Hughes.

Around 7:44 p.m. on Tuesday, Urbandale police were alerted to a hit-and-run incident. According to Collin Ten-Hakin, Community Relations Officer for the Urbandale Police Department, a stolen vehicle ran a stop sign on 70th Street and collided with another car carrying two people.
The individuals in the impacted vehicle sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Following the crash, the driver of the stolen car fled on foot and, as of the time this article was published, remains at large.
