Tikisha Symonee King, a resident of Houston, Texas, also known as TriggaTre, and a graduate of Williowridge High School passed away in a tragic incident at Ralston Discount Beverage store on South Post Oak Road. “Don’t even have the words Tikisha Symonee King sleep in peace my girl since Ridgemont Elementary sending prayers to her mama & family.” A friend wrote on social media.
What happened to Tikisha King?
Houston police have arrested Michael Dewayne Wilkerson, 39, in connection with the fatal shooting of his ex-girlfriend, Darrell Lynn Tikisha King, 29, at a southwest Houston liquor store on November 12, 2024. King was gunned down while working at Ralston Discount Beverages on South Post Oak Road near Beltway 8.
Police say Wilkerson shot King multiple times, including four times in the back. He then disposed of the murder weapon in a bayou and discarded his clothes nearby. Surveillance footage from the store shows Wilkerson following King inside, and although he attempted to hide his identity, he was seen shooting her.
Investigators believe King had ended her relationship with Wilkerson, but they remained friends. Wilkerson was arrested the following day after police identified him through interviews and license plate photos. He later confessed to the crime, claiming that King had “disrespected” him. Wilkerson faces charges of capital murder and tampering with evidence, and is being held without bond on the murder charge.
